I invented a garbanzo pie. I don't remember exactly how it goes but it was something like this:
Start with a cup of dry beans soak and cook. Blend in some cloves of garlic with beans.
Stir fry/caramelize onions and carrots together.
Mix tahini and yogurt with curry powder and other spices.
Make a pie crust
Line a pie tin with crust and layer in bean past, onion carrot mix, a sliced tomato and tahini yogurt mix.
Bake at 375f for 40 min.
Additional comment: I tend to treat recipes as out lines or suggestions. I think it's because we never had all the called for ingredients at my parents house growing up. You can never eat the same thing twice anyway.

Welcom
I have been asked about my eating habits, most likely because I'm thin. Look, honestly I inherited a fast metabolism. I was raised to eat simple relatively unprocessed food. I like food. I like making it and eating it. I like experimenting.
I have no ambitions to post regularly about food. But I like the idea of having all my food related thoughts in one place so you don't have to go through all my other thoughts to know what I think about food.
I have to get the biscuits out of the oven!
